Webstore Policies and Practices

This page outlines our webstore policies and practices in complete detail. If you have any questions or concerns or would like any clarification at all please don't hesitate to contact us directly.


Ordering Process

In order to be as flexible as possible and offer multiple payment methods to you we have split the order process into two distinct phases:
  1. Create Your Order
  2. Pay for Your Order
Create Your Order: After adding the products you would like to order to your shopping cart you can click on the "Checkout" link at the top right of any page. To create the order you will a) choose a method of payment, b) supply required information (depending on the method of payment chosen), c) review your order details, and d) submitting your order by clicking the "Create Order Now" button during checkout.

Pay for Your Order: After creating your order you will be presented with an order confirmation page with your unique order number. A receipt will also be emailed to the email address associated with the order. The "What's Next?" section of the confirmation page will provide you the status of your order as well as detailed information on what to do next to complete payment.


Methods of Payment

We accept 5 methods of payment which can be choosen automatically when going through checkout:
  1. Credit Card - Visa & Mastercard
  2. PayPal - Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Bank Account (eCheck)
  3. Western Union Money Transfer
  4. Interac Email Money Transfer (Canadian residents only)
  5. Money Order or Certified Cheque
Credit Card: All credit card payments are processed securely through our payment processor PayPal. PayPal is the global leader in online payment processing with more than 164 million accounts worldwide, available in 190 markets and 17 currencies around the world.

NOTE: A PayPal account is not required to pay for your MasonMicrophones.com order using your credit card. PayPal will allow you to continue the payment process as a guest.

PayPal: If you have an existing PayPal account you can choose this option when going through checkout to quickly and easily pay for your order from your PayPal balance, with a credit card or through your bank account with an eCheck.

NOTE: eCheck payments can take 6 business days or more to clear.

Western Union Money Transfer: You can send a payment using Western Union online or at one of their many agent locations. As soon as you've sent your payment you can update your order with the Money Transfer Control Number so that we may claim your payment often the very same day. Required information and instructions will be presented to you after you create your order.

Interac EMT: If you have a bank account in Canada with Bank of Montreal, CIBC, Royalbank, Scotiabank or TD Canada Trust and you bank online with one of these institutions you can choose to pay for your order using the Interac Email Money Transfer service. Required information and instructions will be presented to you after you create your order.

Money Order or Certified Cheque: You can choose to mail us payment in the form of a money order or certified cheque. Required information and instructions will be presented to you after you create your order.


Credit Card and PayPal Payments

If you are paying by credit card we will only ship to the billing address listed on your credit card statement.

If you are paying by PayPal we will only ship to your PayPal Confirmed address.

IMPORTANT: To avoid delays and payment refunds, when using your credit card to pay for your order through our payment processor (PayPal) simply be sure to enter the billing address of the credit card you choose to use as the shipping address for your order and your payment should clear instantly.

Your security and protection against fraud is extremely important to us, therefore, there are no exceptions to the above term.


Returning Products

We go to great lengths to ensure that you receive your order in perfect working condition by inspecting each and every product that leaves our facilities. Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase and that your product does not arrive DOA (dead on arrival). When you receive your package, we ask that you examine the outer shipping box as well as the inner product packaging closely prior to opening products. If mishandling is suspected circle any excessive damage or punctures on the outer shipping box with a black permanent marker. If your item was damaged during shipment this will help should an insurance claim need to be filed.

When receiving your products it is necessary to inspect all products to determine if they have arrived DOA. If a product has arrived DOA we ask that you contact us within thirty (30) days of receiving your order. We will be glad to exchange the product at absolutely no cost to you. If your product has arrived DOA you can use our RMA Request Form to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. It may take approximately 2 business days before an RMA number is issued to you. Within this time a representative may be in touch with you by email or by phone to aquire additional details regarding the claim. Along with the RMA number you will receive specific instructions for returning the product.
NOTE: 30-day guarantee not applicable to special, bulk or wholesale orders.

IMPORTANT: Packages returned without an RMA number will be refused. Your RMA number is valid for 14 days from issue. Simply package the item securely and return the product in the same condition as when you purchased it, with all manuals, accessories, and packing materials.

Shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable, however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or the product arrived to you DOA.

All returns must be returned in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and any other item or accessory provided by the manufacturer.

Under special circumstances other than defective items and shipping errors an authorized return may be accepted. Returns under these circumstances will be subject to a 15% restocking fee based on the purchase price of the item. This fee will be deducted from the total credit amount. S&H costs are non-refundable. On purchases paid using PayPal, the same email address used to make the purchase will be credited with the refund. The credit will be made within 5 to 7 business days of us receiving and verifying the returned merchandise.

IMPORTANT: In the event that a returned product has items missing, the claim may be denied, or the value of the missing materials may be deducted from the total credit amount.

Our Low Price Guarantee

If you find a lower price from another online webstore anywhere in Canada for a product that we have in stock just let us know and we'll lower the price on our website to match our competitors. The only requirement is that the other site must have the identical item (brand and model) and they must also have it in stock. That's it!


FREE Shipping

We ship FREE on all orders over $50.00 CAD to all 10 Canadian provinces and the 48 lower United States. We ship via UPS for most orders, however, Canada Post may be used under other special circumstances and orders being shipped to PO box addresses. All orders are normally shipped same or next business day. Yes, you read that right. Same or next business day shipping! Delivery time for orders is typically from 1 - 6 business days after shipment for UPS and Canada Post.

For all orders under $50.00 CAD a flat S&H fee of $12.95 CAD will be applied to your total during checkout.

For orders being shipped to Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Ric a S&H surcharge of $19.95 CAD will be applied to your total during checkout.


Pricing and Currency

All prices displayed within our webstore are shown in Canadian currency. We reserve the right to change our retail prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes often occur due to supply and demand, specials and promotions, and other factors beyond our control.


Canadian Sales Tax

Sales *tax is applied to the purchase price on all **Canadian orders as follows:

Ontario: 13% HST
New Brunswick: 15% HST
Newfoundland & Labrador: 15% HST
Nova Scotia: 15% HST
Prince Edward Island: 15% HST
All other Canadian Provinces: 5% GST

* appropriate sales tax is automatically applied during checkout
** there are no sales taxes applied to US orders


Order Confirmation and Validation

For the protection of you, our valued customer, we reserve the right to request additional information to confirm identity or validate an order. We have never and will never ship an order until we are convinced that no fraudulent action is present.

For this reason, your daytime contact phone number may be requested to complete the processing of an order. This only occurs when payment for an item by PayPal or by credit card does not pass security checks (such as address validation).

If it is not provided when requested your order may be delayed until we are able to acquire your daytime number. Your phone number may also be used by delivery couriers and/or to confirm order or payment details.


Purchases Made by Minors

You must be the age of majority to place an order within our webstore. If you are under the legal age of majority please have your parent or legal guardian place the order for you. In some instances an adult signature may be required before a courier can release a package.


Misprints

We strive to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information about our products, pricing and policies. In the event that such an error does occur, we reserve the right to correct or cancel an order at any time, edit an order to reflect the correction, correct the error on our web site or any combination of the above.
